The Kids SOS GPS smartwatch : 

Based on the senior watch, it was adapted for kids by taking out some functions (health monitor, medicine reminder, music player). Alarms can still be programmed however !

We still, of course, have two way calling and voice chat messages to communicate with our kids! When they leave school or activities earlier, they can call you !
And as mobile phones and smartphones are not welcomed in schools in many countries, this is really THE solution !
You can localise your kid in real time, and see with the history of displacements if he takes the usual route, and if not where he/she goes! Like with seniors watch, GPS, LBS and Wi-Fi technologies are used for localisation. And in case of an emergency call, after the call, the watch sends the GPS coordinates to the registered numbers.
You can put GPS and Wi-Fi barriers and be notified whenever he joins school or other programmed activities, when not and when he leaves!
In case of no news or no response, you can localise in real time the wearer and voice monitor the environnement via the app !
Kids and you can follow their activity (steps and calories) in the watch and via the app.
By taking out some functions, we had more place for a bigger battery, so autonomy is better than seniors watch !
We thought of putting games and other extras for kids : after testing, these draw the battery very quickly, and the risk is to have a no-working and empty watch battery before the end of the day ! They were withdrawn quickly from our kids watch !
Keep it simple, but effective !
If your kid has some medical problems (diabetes, down syndrome, autism, etc.) and needs medication and medical screening, please consider also the seniors SOS GPS watch, it could be more adapted in your case !
